Congrats to the 2nd grade for a great show! We had a lot of fun working on the musical and even more fun performing with costumes, make up, and lights! What was your favorite part? One certain bug? The army ants? I’d love to hear a comment from you!

Here’s a fun video of our first time to work with the parachute in Kindergarten! Lots of fun. We are getting ready for Grandparent’s Day and there is a parachute routine in it so K needs to learn how to work the parachute. Take a look:

Did you watch the opening ceremonies? If not…go to the links I post for you to see the wonderful, beautiful opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics. Look at all the countries and how they represent their countries through music, their flags, the teams colors and clothing choices, etc. You will notice at the end when a certain country wins the gold, they play their national anthem. Once again—music is such a huge part of our lives and the Olympics are just another great example. Be looking and listening this week and let me know what you see/hear. :)

Well, a new season of American Idol started tonight! I already have a few favorites! I really enjoy seeing people from all over the country come out and show their talent and seeing some of their dreams come true! I like to hear all the different styles of voices and just plain different styles of people as well! I like seeing people be themselves even when they may look or act a little different than most! That’s what makes people special! Tune in to my site for my top Idol pics of 2010! I do think my very top favorite is yet to come though! ;) Just call it a feeling!

Intermediate students—get ready for some fun this Friday Oct. 30th!  It is our annual variety show beginning at 8:30.  We had so many people try out that we are actually having 2 parts to the show in order to allow more time to have more acts!  That’s a good problem to have.  Get ready for singing, piano playing, dancing, twirling, cheering, acting. art, poetry, stackers, and many more acts!  It is also ‘Join the Fight Against Drugs’ day—wear camo to celebrate being drug free!  :)
