This week the primary students had lots of fun with stars! We moved to two different sounding songs as if we were stars dancing in the galaxy. We also sang the traditional song ‘Star Light, Star Bright’ and made wishes on a star! Check out our pictures:

Description: Our annual grandparents day celebration! Students will invite their grandparents to come share the morning with them in their classrooms and enjoy seeing a music and movement program just for them!

White Oak Intermediate students have been studying the history of Jazz music this week! We are identifying various jazz styles such as ragtime, dixieland, swing, big band, bebop, and jazz fusion/rock. Next week we will continue celebrating jazz by looking at specific jazz musicians and hearing them play!
